Seeing your blog for the first time also. Love the dot silk blouse; sewn for many years here but latest adventure with copying an old Chanel tank shell I have - sewing with silk charmeuse - has me completely flustered with the slip and slide of the fabric - tried using a bit of tissue and different stabilizers in order to add a small bias facing on the neckline and armholes - you are using starch? Care to share the type and application process you are using before I venture off to ruining another piece of this fabric - Thanks for your detailed posts and pics - beautiful work! Ginger L
